Drumbeet combines original drum phrase work, open datasets, redistributable samples, models, and open-source software. This page tracks the public attribution posture for the current app.
Phrase corpus
- Contributor-created drum performances and cover-style drum performances created by drumbeet contributors.
- Programmatically generated drum material created for drumbeet.
- Groove MIDI Dataset, introduced by Jon Gillick, Adam Roberts, Jesse Engel, Douglas Eck, and David Bamman in Learning to Groove with Inverse Sequence Transformations, ICML 2019.
AI and music tooling
- Magenta.js and related Magenta projects by Google.
- Browser-side Magenta model/checkpoint assets used for drum phrase transformation and generation experiments.
- Server-side text interpretation may use configured AI providers for prompt-to-phrase and prompt-to-song features.

Drumbeet uses open-source JavaScript, TypeScript, Fastify, database, audio, MIDI, visualization, and testing libraries. Bundled vendor notices are kept with the relevant distributed assets when required.
